Kids Count Too, Inc. is a private, non-profit foster care and adoption agency licensed through the State of Ohio. Established in 2002, our agency provides traditional and treatment foster care services to the Northwest Ohio Region.  We also provide adoption services which include licensing, assessment, training, matching, pre-finalization and post-finalization adoption services.  We have dedicated staff members who take pride in the services we provide to our foster and adoptive parents and the children in their homes.  Kids Count Too is dedicated to working closely with our foster and adoptive parents as a team of professionals in providing the best possible care for children.

We offer a full range of support services to our foster and adoptive parents which include:

·         24 hour on call service

·         Weekly home visits and/or consultations

·         Pre-service training

·         Monthly continuing training

·         Childcare provided during continuing training sessions

·         Quarterly Treatment Team Meetings

·         Respite Services

·         Assistance with school enrollment

·         Assistance with Medical appointments if needed

·         Monthly reimbursements

Kids Count Too works together with our foster and adoptive parents to provide nurturing environments with individual attention to children in need. We accept long-term, short-term and emergency foster care placements.

Each child placed in care with our foster families will receive a complete assessment to aid us in determining his/her needs.  We look at the physical, emotional, educational, social and spiritual needs of every child and our staff, together with the rest of the treatment team, will develop a case plan according to the child's needs.

Our staff, the placement (county) workers and the foster families all work together to achieve the goals of the case plan. Kids Count Too social workers provide support and guidance on a regular basis to both the children and the foster families.  Our staff is very flexible and someone is always available to meet your needs.

Kids Count Too believes that a positive and nurturing environment helps children to grow to their full potential.  We feel that we can aid our children to achieve this by working together with our families toward a common goal.
